Statement:
I have been painting a long series of watercolors and oils inspired by the landscape of Land's End. (GGNRA) I like to paint intimate scenes, bowers and groves under the canopy. I am fascinated by light finding its way through brush and branches. The forms are craggy and windwhipped, idiosyncratic. I want to convey the presence of wind and a cold light. |
