| Sycamores I |
| Medium
| Oil on canvas |
| Size
| 26 x 20 |
| Statement
| My paintings are begun outside in Nature. While painting, I am able to gain a deep communion with my subject and it's environment. Aged trees, vines and rocks seem to possess a knowledge beyond human understanding. I am particularly attracted to the old forms of life. It is my hope my painting will trascend the viewer in to nature, heightening the viewer's understanding of the natural world. |
