Statement:
My work arises from the desire to capture the mystery and power of emotions and expressions. I am intrigued by the emotional over the physical, and try to evoke the spiritual rather than the complete image. I search for the common sensitivity between my work and the viewer.
I use opaque and transparent acrylics, oil pastels, varnishes and washes in superimposed layers, allowing them to arrange themselves according to their affinities or resistances, with the intent of letting the colors speak. |
