Ted Vasin

The images I paint are very closely related to my dreams, vivid sleeping or half-sleeping experiences that reveal to me highly unfamiliar scenes which I find very inspiring.

Ted Vasin has exhibited at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor and the de Young Art Center in San Francisco, as well as the Pacifica Center for the Arts. He participated in two residencies through programs at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Vasin's work has appeared in numerous publications, including New American Paintings and WIRED magazine. Last year Ted was awarded a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant. Ted's work is currently represented by Frey Norris Gallery in San Francisco.
